The Commissioner Speaks
League presses its case for full PPR. Commissioner declines further comment.
The commissioner opened Year Fourteen on Sunday with two sentences and no questions taken. “Welcome back for Year 14, everyone,” he said. “We draft Sunday. Let’s have a good year.”
The room did not stay quiet. Sal opened for the floor with the demand that has trailed this league for seasons: “We want PPR. Full PPR.” Josh moved straight to terms. “Full PPR,” he offered. “We’ll even give up the meatballs.”
By the midpoint the podium had lost the room entirely, the chant going up from every chair: FULL PPR. FULL PPR. The meatballs were raised a second time and again went unanswered.
From the back, Dave called the vote for what it was. “Guys, don’t bother. He’s never changing it,” he said. “I don’t think he’s even listening to us.”
The league drafts Sunday at 7:15. Scoring remains half‑point PPR.
